For years, these moments lived in my personal journal — a collection of memories, photographs, and reflections from journeys across Southern Africa. What began as my own memoir slowly became a calling: to help others experience Africa not as tourists, but as storytellers of their own journey.

Meet your African Travel Specialist: Lesleigh
A lifelong connection to Africa.
Born and raised in South Africa, the African bush has always been a personal passion. I have traveled extensively throughout Southern Africa, including overland journeys through South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia, and have been a frequent visitor to Kruger National Park and the Greater Kruger region over many years. My experiences span the full spectrum, from independent overlanding and more rustic bush experiences to some of Southern Africa's exceptional private lodges and reserves to hiking trails in the mountains to visiting numerous wine farms in the Cape. This breadth of experience gives me a genuine understanding of how different destinations and levels of luxury can create very different experiences for a traveler. It is this personal knowledge and love for Africa that I want to bring to Ivuka's clients — helping them discover not simply a trip to Africa, but an unforgettable experience.
